What’s New at The Toups Law Firm

We are looking forward to an exciting 2024 at The Toups Law Firm. This year, we are leaning into technology and education. We are continuing our efforts to reduce our paper use. It’s a big task for a law firm in the business of producing estate planning documents. While we know we’ll never be truly paperless, we are finding ways to reduce our internal paper usage. For instance, both attorneys recently got iPads to use for taking notes in our meetings. Not only has this reduced our paper usage, but we’ve discovered an increase in efficiency. (After a few weeks of fumbling through all the new features.)

We also launched online scheduling through our website. This allows clients to schedule meetings at their convenience and outside business hours. We understand that scheduling often requires consulting several calendars.

As far as education goes, not only are we continuing our Myths, Mysteries, and Misconceptions About Elder Law presentation series, we are expanding it. This year, in response to countless requests, we are launching a Zoom webinar format for the presentation. We are excited about the opportunity to increase access to these presentations to interested individuals, who may not be able to make it out to one of our in-person presentations. After years of hearing elder law myths, Ruth-Ann designed this presentation to provide much needed education about common elder law topics. It’s a great presentation not only for those who need information to get started, but also for former clients looking to refresh their knowledge. If you would like to attend, please visit our website to register.
